Who I Am

I am Tristan Daty, a student that has been studying the technical and artistic aspects of live and recorded sounds. I have worked with expert performers and engineers over the past few years to put on live shows at festivals, events, and theater productions. Additionally, I have become proficient with Ableton through my own endeavors and a course at the University of Colorado Denver to be able to ideate, record, produce, mix, and master my own music. My Projects
Clamour
Utilized high gain guitar signal chains through physical spaces and reverbs to achieve the tonality paired with automated panning using an LFO to achieve movement and chaos throughout the track.
Defer It
Focused on the integration of compression on percussion as a tonal voice rather than volume control. Used moving equalization and resonance as expression along with the textures of digital distortion and electronic dance music.
The Wind Above Me
Made use of close miking amplifiers off-axis to achieve textured sound without harsh highs that offers a wide dynamic range. This track is defined by the simplicity and space created with the panning and bussing of effects chains.
